Ms. Rasanjali Pathirage, the chairperson of NFWD, along with senior staff members, actively participated in a conversation with women with disabilities. The focus of the discussion was to assess the prevailing conditions related to sexual and reproductive health, as well as the political involvement and literacy levels of women in the “Batticaloa” district. The engagement proved successful, yielding valuable data in these key areas. This information will be instrumental in the development of targeted programs aimed at addressing and resolving the identified issues.
