The Nation Forum of Women with Disabilities (NFWD) successfully facilitated breast cancer screening tests for women with disabilities at Asiri Hospital.
This important initiative was made possible with the generous support of Sri Lanka Association of Greater Washington Inc., whose commitment to women’s health and disability inclusion is deeply appreciated.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Nishani Ubeysekara, Director – Youth, Elderly and Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Health & Mass Media in collaboration with Rasanjali Pathirage, President/CEO of NFWD.
Together, we continue to ensure equitable access to essential healthcare services, empowering women with disabilities to take charge of their health with dignity.
