NFWD, Matara workshop

We are happy to announce the successful completion of yet another impactful Workshop on Sexual and Reproductive Health for Women with Disabilities and The Political Rights of Disabled Women in Matara!

This workshop, which is part of our ongoing efforts to foster inclusion and empowerment, was graced by the presence of some esteemed individuals:

– Hon. Dulas Alahapperuma M.P – Chairman of the Parliamentary Caucus for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities

– Mr. Saman Sri Rathnayake – Commissioner General of the Election Commission of Sri Lanka

– Dr. Yakandawala – Consultant of NFWD

– Miss Rasanjali Pathirage – President of NFWD

We had the pleasure of hosting 40 deaf women who actively participated and engaged with the material. Their feedback was incredibly positive, with many sharing how much they learned and how valuable the experience was for them.

This event is a testament to our commitment to inclusion and ensuring that every woman, regardless of her abilities, has access to essential knowledge and political rights. Together, we are making strides towards a more inclusive and informed society.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this workshop!
