NFWD at the United Nations in Geneva
We are proud to share that Ms. Rasanjali Pathirage, Founder, President & CEO of the Nation Forum of Women with Disabilities (NFWD), together with NFWD representatives, is participating in the 35th Session of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
Their participation provides an important opportunity to bring the perspectives and priorities of persons with disabilities, particularly women with disabilities, to the global disability rights platform.
NFWD extends its sincere gratitude to the International Disability Alliance (IDA) for its valuable support in enabling this participation and strengthening the representation of disability voices at the international level.
